  20 years of environmental education and campaigning in Jersey
The JOA campaigns on many aspects of food and farming in Jersey. Annually we invite a guest speaker to talk on a current topic, and we issue a quarterly newsletter of our activities and information. The association offers advice and support on various aspects of organic gardening, farming and living.

The JOA has donated £50 to support the Soil Association’s major new campaign, launched on 18th November, entitled ‘Transition: Food and Farming in 21st Century Britain’. This campaign is centered on rebuilding local systems of food production, based on renewable energy sources, to provide food security for present and future generations.
Some of the permaculture group have produced a response to the States consultation paper on an energy stategy for Jersey. This has been adopted by the committee and is now a JOA response. read it here

Slow food movement
